THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHERN HOLT

AT 125 AM CDT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT ABOUT
50 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF NORTH
 CENTRAL NEBRASKA UNTIL 5 AM CDT SUATURDAY MORNING.
 THE TORNADO WARNING FOR EASTERN BROWN COUNTY IS CANCELLED...BUT
 REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT FOR ROCK COUNTY.

THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO DISSAPATE ACROSS SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA THIS
EVENING.

AT 810 PM CDT ALL THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE IN FRONTIER AND
KEITH COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA HAD DISSAPATED.

THERE IS STILL A CHANCE OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHWEAST
NEBRASKA TONIGHT BUT THEY ARE NO LONGER EXPECTED TO REACH LIMITS
WHERE THEY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE LAST SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT ISSUED BY
THE NORTH PLATTE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE UNLESS STORMS WOULD
REDEVELOP OR MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA ONCE AGAIN.
