THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST CHERRY AND THE CITY OF VALENTINE

AT 2 30 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES SOUTH
OF VALENTINE NEBRASKA MOVING NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT
CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.

 THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED FOR BOX BUTTE...SOUTHEAST
SIOUX AND THEP CITY OF ALLIANCE WAS A BOGUS WARNING DUE TO COMPUTER
PROBLEMS. PLEASE DISREGARD THIS BOGUS WARNING. THE WARNING FOR
NORTHEAST CHERRY COUNTY IS VALID HOWEVER.
