THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 100 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...PLATTE

AT 1205 AM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 10 TO
15 MILES WEST OF COLUMBUS IN PLATTE COUNTY.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING
TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DEADLY WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 75 MPH...LARGE HAIL...KILLER LIGHTNING...AND TORRENTIAL RAINS
THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR STANTON AND
 WAYNE COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA UNTIL 1230 AM CDT.

   TUESDAY MORNING...

INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP OVER LINCOLN COUNTY OF
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA MAINLY IN THE NORTH PLATTE AREA.  THE MOST INTENSE
THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH OF NORTH PLATTE WITH PEA
SIZE HAIL...HEAVY RAIN AND WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR.

OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND
NEW THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP ACROSS PORTIONS OF KEITH COUNTY
IN THE OGALLALA AREA.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.
