A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO INTENSIFY OVER SOUTHEAST
KANSAS EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...WITH A COLD FRONT TRAILING SOUTH ACROSS
EAST OKLAHOMA AND EAST TEXAS. BRISK SOUTHERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THIS LOW
CONTINUE TO PUMP MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR INTO THE MID SOUTH...SETTING
THE STAGE FOR POSSIBLE SEVERE WEATHER.

SCATTERED VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS HAVE ALREADY DEVELOPED OVER A LARGE
PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI AND WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE DURING THE
AFTERNOON.

AT THE CURRENT TIME...THE MAJOR THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER IS OVER

SHOWERS AND SCATTERED HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUING TO INCREASE
ACROSS ALL OF MISSISSIPPI. AT 315 PM THE HEAVIEST STORMS WERE JUST
ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER FROM GREENVILLE TO VICKSBURG. THESE WILL
MOVE NORTHEAST INTO THE STATE DURING THE NEXT HOUR. RESIDENTS OF THE
WESTERN COUNTIES CAN EXPECT MARBLE-SIZED HAIL...STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING. REMEMBER...LIGHTNING IS A KILLER. GET INSIDE WHEN
A THUNDERSTORM IS AROUND.

WESTERN MISSISSIPPI. THE LINE EXTENDS FROM NEAR CLEVELAND TO JUST
WEST OF FAYETTE. AT 415 PM THE HEAVIEST ACTIVITY WAS IN BOLIVAR
COUNTY MOVING NORTH AT 35 MPH.

RESIDENTS OF THE WESTERN COUNTIES CAN EXPECT MARBLE-SIZED HAIL...
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. REMEMBER...LIGHTNING IS A
KILLER. GET INSIDE WHEN A THUNDERSTORM IS AROUND.

THE MAIN LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLD FRONT IS MOVING
