THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST INDIANA...SOUTHERN PIKE AND NORTHERN WARRICK

AT 1043 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER SOUTHWEST
INDIANA...ALONG INTERSTATE 64 BETWEEN LYNNVILLE AND
SELVIN...WHICH IS 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF EVANSVILLE.
THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORECED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE
A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM.  IF OUTDOORS...
STAY AWAY FROM HIGH OBJECTS.  MOVE INDOORS IF POSSIBLE.  WHEN
INDOORS...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND DOORS AND AVOID USING
TELEPHONES AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

 THIS STORM IS ALSO CAUSING FLOODING ALONG STATE ROAD 68 IN THE
 SCALESVILLE AREA.
