NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EVANSVILLE IN
446 PM CST SUN MAR 15 1987

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES OF   ...CORRECTION FOR ALL OF HANCOK COUNTY...

NORTHWEST KENTUCKY... HANCOCK AND EXTREME NORTHERN DAVIESS.

AT 440 PM CST RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN
SOUTHWEST SPENCER COUNTY ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH OF ROCKPORT
AND 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF EVANSVILLE INDIANA.  THIS STORM
IS MOVING TOWARDS THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE RIVER INTO KENTUCKY AROUND 445 PM CST.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY.
