000 TTAA00 KEVV 311940 SVREVV KYC141-177-031-312015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EVANSVILLE IN 240 PM CDT SUN MAY 31 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY...EXTREME NORTHERN LOGAN...EASTERN MUHLENBERG AND WESTERN BUTLER AT 235 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 25 MILES NORTHEAST OF HOPKINSVILLE KENTUCKY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. INTENSE LIGHTNING IS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM. IF OUTDOORS... STAY AWAY FROM HIGH OBJECTS. MOVE INDOORS IF POSSIBLE. WHEN INDOORS...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND DOORS AND AVOID USING TELEPHONES AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
