AT 245 PM SEVERAL CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING HAD DEVELOPED IN EASTCENTRAL ILLINOIS. ONE CLUSTER
WAS IN NORTHWEST COLES COUNTY...TO THE NORTHWEST OF MATTOON. ANOTHER
WAS IN NORTHERN EDGAR...NORTH OF PARIS ILLINOIS AND ANOTHER WAS IN
NORTHERN CHAMPAIGN COUNTY...NORTHWEST OF RANTOUL.

ALL OF THE PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST AT
AROUND 20 MPH.
