000 TTAA00 KSPI 131928 SVRSPI ILC019-183-132030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD IL 228 PM CDT SAT JUN 13 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EASTERN CHAMPAIGN AND VERMILION A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF CHAMPAIGN...JUST TO THE SOUTH OF RANTOUL. IT WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
