1010 PM CDT SUN APR 12 1987

AT 1010 PM CDT...VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD RAPIDLY DEVLOPED
IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS SINCE 930 PM. THE STRONGEST THUNDER
STORMS WERE LOCATED 5 MILES NORTH OF WINFIELD AND ANOTHER LOCATED
5 MILES SOUTH OF SEDAN KANSAS.  THE THUNDERSTORMS WEST OF A LINE FROM
SALINA TO HUTCHINSON TO ANTHONY HAD ALSO BEGUN TO INTENSwIFY.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR.
