SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI 525 PM CDT WED MAY 27 1987 ...TORNAD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT.... ...LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS NORTHEAST WISCONSIN.. AT 520 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THE WISCONSIN...MICHIGAN BORDER IN WESTERN MARINETTE COUNTY THROUGH OCONTO...BROWN...CALUMET AND ENTERNING MANITOWOC COUNTY. THIS LINE OF STORMS IS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT AROUND 35 MILES AN HOUR. VERY HEAVY RAINS..FREQUENT INTENSE LIGHTNING AND WINDS IN THE 40 TO 50 MPH RANGE HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS...ALSO SOME SMALL HAIL. THIS LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHEAST WISCONSIN TAND OVER THE BAY OF GREEN BAY AND DOOR COUNTY BY 6:30 PM CDT. BOATERS ON THE BAY OF GREEN BAY SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR NOW. OTHERS IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SEEK SAFE SHELTER.
