THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...EASTERN DANE

AT 615 PM CDT TORRENTIAL RAIN WAS FALLING IN THE EASTERN HALF OF
DANE COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITY OF MADISON. NEARLY TWO INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN HERE AT TRUAX FIELD IN THE LAST 30 MINUTES.

A FLASH FLOOD MEANS FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED OR IS IMMINENT.
TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.

IF YOU ARE IN A LOW LYING AREA OR ALONG A STREAM OR RIVER IN THE
THREATENED AREA..DONT WASTE TIME TRYING TO SAVE PERSONAL PROPERTY.
GET OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE BY MOVING TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.

IF YOU ARE IN YOUR CAR AND IT STALLS NEAR A RIVER..ABANDON IT AND
FLEE TO HIGHER GROUND. DONT ATTEMPT CROSSING SWOLLEN STREAMS.
CURRENTS AND RAPIDLY RISING WATER CAN SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET.
