000 TTAA00 KGRI 142337 TORGRI NEC129-169-150000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND ISLAND NE 537 PM CST SAT MAR 14 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...EASTERN NUCKOLLS AND WESTERN THAYER AT 530PM... RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO BETWEEN LAWRENCE AND NELSON NEBRASKA MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THIS WARNING AREA INCLUDES THE TOWN OF ANGUS NEB. PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. CARS AND MOBIL}E HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY TO SAVE YOUR LIVES. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE OPEN... TRY TO HIDE IN A DEPRESSION LIKE A DITCH OR CULVERT.
