NEBRASKA UNTIL 8 PM CDT...

AT 240 PM CDT...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
PEA TO MARBLE SIZED HAIL WERE CONTINUING TO THE WEST OF GRAND ISLAND
ALONG A 15 MILE WIDE BAND FROM WEST OF ST PAUL TO JUST NORTHEAST
OF KEARNEY. DOWNPOURS OF RAIN HAS CAUSED WATER TO RUN OVER THE RAVENNA
ROAD BETWEEN HIGHWAY 10 AND GIBBON.

OTHERWISE... SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME VERY STRONG...COVERED MUCH
OF NEBRASKA BETWEEN NORTH PLATTE AND LINCOLN. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE
ALSO DEVELOPING IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...TO THE EAST OF HILL CITY.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT 15 MPH.

...HAIL 1/2 INCH DIAMETER REPORTED 12 MILES NORTHWEST OF GRAND ISLAND
AT 310 PM CDT...

AT 340 PM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY
FROM WEST OF KEARNEY SOUTHWARD INTO NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...NEAR RUSSELL
AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAINS AS THEY SPREAD NORTH AND NORTH
EASTWARD INTO SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO  NOTED FROM JUST NORTH OF GRAND ISLAND
TO SOUTHWEST OF COLUMBUS AND NEAR LINCOLN.

THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED OVER MUCH OF NEBRASKA BETWEEN NORTH PLATTE AND
LINCOLN...AND BETWEEN ONEILL AND HASTINGS.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT 15 TO 20 MPH.

THE AREA IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA BETWEEN GRAND ISLAND...KEARNEY...AND
HASTINGS CAN EXPECT AND INCREASE IN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA UNTIL 8 PM CDT...

AT 432 PM RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER A GOOD PORTION OF CENTRAL
NEBRASKA AND WERE SCATTERED OVER EASTERN NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN KANSAS.

LITTLE MOVEMENT OF THE RAIN PATTERN WAS EVIDENT.

THE MOST NUMEROUS AND INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE KEARNEY AND
HASTINGS AREA OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA INTO NORTHERN KANSAS WEST OF
MANKATO.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 25 MPH AND WILL
CONTAIN DOWNPOURS OF RAIN AND PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL WITH WIND GUSTS
TO 45 MP6H POSSIBLE.  THE STORMS ARE MOVING TOWARD HASTINGS AND THE
AREA WEST OF GRAND ISLAND.

PERSONS IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR HEAVY RAINS
WHICH COULD CAUSE SMALL STREAM AND URBAN FLOODING.
