THE WATCH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING NORTCH CENTRAL TEXAS COUNTIES...COMANCHE...COOKE...EASTLAND ...ERATH...HAMILTON...HOOD...PALO PINTO...PARKER...SOMERVELL... STEPHENS...AND WISE. AT 305 PM CDT AN AREA OF INTENSE THUNDERSTOMS ABOUT 20 MILES WIDE EXTENDED FROM MONTAGUE TO SHERMAN TO HUGO OKLAHOMA. THE AREA WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST TO 30 MPH. THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE SHERMAN DENISON AREA. THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCED PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL AND 40 MPH WINDS IN SHERMAN. THE DALLAS FORT WORTH METROPLEX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TORNADO WATCH AREA BUT IT IS IN THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA. AT 418 PM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM NEAR SHERMAN NORTHEASTWARD INTO OKLAHOMA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE BETWEEN SHERMAN AND BONHAM AND JUST NORTH OF BONHAM ALONG THE RED RIVER. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE WESTERN PART OF NORTH TEXAS FROM NEAR ANSON TO NEAR HASKELL. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
