RAIN CONTINUED OVER NORTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA.

THE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED 20 MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE
FROM BANCROFT...20 MILES EAST OF HURON TO ROSHOLT...60 MILES NORTH OF
WATERTOWN.  THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCED TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL...
VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

...OTHERWISE AN ISOLATED INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
WAS 10 MILES NORTH AVON...WHICH IS ABOUT 30 MILES WEST OF YANKTON.

THESE STORMS HAVE PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...LARGE HAIL...STRONG
WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

AT 800 PM CDTD THUNDERSTORMS COVERED THE AREA BETWEEN YANKTON AND
PICKSTOWN. SOME OF THESE STORMS WERE SEVERE AND WERE PRODUCING
LARGE HAIL...GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 40 MPH...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND
HEAVY RAINS WHICH WERE REUSLTING IN PONDING OF WATER IN LOW LYING
AREAS. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT NO MORE THAN 20 MPH.

ELSEWHERE...A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM 40 MILES
WEST OF SIOUX FALLS NEAR SALEM TO THE CLEAR LAKE AREA IN EASTCENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA. THESE INTENSE STORMS WERE PRODUCING PEA TO MARBLE SIZE
HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 40 TO 50 MPH...AND HEAVY RAINS. THIS LINE WAS
MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
