...A TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT
FOR VAL VERDE COUNTY INCLUDING DEL RIO...

AT 825 PM CDT RAINSHOWERS WERE OBSERVED AT THE DEL RIO INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT. RADAR ALSO INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM 90 MILES SOUTH OF
DEL RIO TO 40 MILES NORTH OF DEL RIO. MOVEMENT WAS SLOWLY TO THE
EAST.

HEAVY RAIN...LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...FREQUENT DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS IS
POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

BOATERS ON LAKE AMISTAD SHOULD KEEP A LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO SAFE HARBOR.

13.22 FEET.

CAMPERS AND CANOEISTS ALONG THE THE RIO GRANDE AND PECOS RIVERS
SHOULD PREPARE TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. SOME FLOODING OF LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS WILL LIKELY OCCUR AS
THE EXCESS RUNOFF COMES DOWN THE RIVERS. PARENTS SHOULD KEEP ALL
CHILDREN AWAY FROM THESE DANGEROUS FLOOD PRONE AREAS. MOTORISTS
SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
CROSSINGS AS ROADS COULD POSSIBLY BE WASHED OUT.
