THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

CENTRAL MISSOURI...CAMDEN

AT 830 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER CAMDEN
COUNTY NORTH OF CAMDENTON. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 25
MILES AN HOUR.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

BOATERS ON LAKES SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.

HEAVY RAINS WILL QUICKLY FLOOD SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.

HAVE DEVELOPED OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED 10 MILES WEST OF KIRKSVILLE MISSOURI
AND 85 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KANSAS CITY MISSOURI...NEAR COLE CAMP AND STOVER
MISSOURI.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN A 40 MILE WIDE BAND FROM 30 MILES NORTHWEST
OF JOPLIN MISSOURI TO NEAR KIRKSVILLE MISSOURI.

MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 30 MPH.
