000 TTAA00 KDDC 260100 SVRDDC KSC055-260200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 801 PM CDT MON MAY 25 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS... FINNEY ONE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING INTO THE KALVESTA AND ANOTHER IS JUST TO THE SOUTH OF GARDEN CITY AND MOVING INTO THE GARDEN CITY AREA. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS THUNDERSTORM GET TO A SAFE SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG WINDS...LARGE HAIL...HEAVY RAINS...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. AT 6 PM THIS EVENING A NEWLY DEVELOPED THUNDERSTORM WAS 10 MILES SOUTH OF LIBERAL KANSAS . MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THIS THUNDERSTORTMS SHOULD MOVE INTO LIBERAL BY 620 PM THIS EVENING AND WITH THE TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT SHOULD BE WATCH CLOSELY.
