THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHEAST WYOMING...CENTRAL AND EAST LARAMIE COUNTY AND EXTREME
SOUTHERN GOSHEN COUNTY

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF ALBIN AND LA GRANGE...BUT DOES
NOT INCLUDE THE CITY OF CHEYENNE.

AT 422 PM MDT A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED 15 MILES NORTHWEST
OF THE CHEYENNE AIRPORT. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ASSOCIATED WITH
THIS FUNNEL CLOUD WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

HAIL CLOSE TO TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER WAS ALSO BEING REPORTED WITH
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT
AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH
OF THIS STORM MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORICED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
