THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 410 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
 
NORTHERN NY... ST LAWRENCE
                                                                         
RADAR IS INDICATING A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN ONTARIO PROVINCE, 
CANADA BETWEEN OTTAWA AND KINGSTON.  THE LINE IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 
30 MPH AND WILL BE IN THE ST LAWRENCE VALLEY BY 3 PM EDT.  WALNUT    
SIZE HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS. 
 
BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING
STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.  LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO
CAUSE DRAINAGE FLOODING.
 
IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY.
IN HOMES A BASEMENT OR INTERIOR ROOM IS THE SAFEST LOCATION.
