AT 420 AM CDT...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE HUGGING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER WITH THE LEADING EDGE LOCATED FROM NEAR HUDSON WISCONSIN...TO RED WING ...TO WINONA TO JUST NORTHEAST OF LACROSSE. THE HEAVIEST STORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR RED WING AND TO THE NORTH OF WINONA. MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS IN EASTERN GOODHUE...EASTERN WABASHA...AND EASTERN WINONA COUNTIES CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AS THEY PASS THE AREA. AT 515 AM CDT...A 25 MILE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE LEADING EDGE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WAS FROM NEAR PRESCOTT WISCONSIN TO RED WING TO WABASHA TO CALEDONIA IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR RED WING...WABASHA... AND CALEDONIA AND WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR. PERSONS IN EASTERN GOODHUE...EASTERN WABASHA...EASTERN WINONA AND HOUSTON COUNTIES CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AS THEY PASS THROUGH THE AREA.
