THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
          ...CASTRO...NORTHEASTERN PARMER
 
AT 625 PM CDT...AMARILLO RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM
ABOUT 8 MILES NORTH OF FRIONA.  AT 615 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED
BY THE FRIONA POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BE IN ABOUT THE SAME LOCATION AS
THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM.  MOVEMENT WAS SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 20 MILES
AN HOUR.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
IF NO BASEMENT IS AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM
