000 TTAA00 KHON 062318 RRA TORHON SDC059-062345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HURON SD 618 PM CDT MON JUL 6 1987 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...SOUTHERN HAND SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE AMES COLONY AND DANFORTH AT 610 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN HAND COUNTY...ABOUT 50 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF HURON. NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE ALSO BEEN RECEIVED. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...YOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING. KRAUSE
