000 TTAA00 KFSM 170748 SVRFSM ARC047-170845- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT SMITH AR 248 AM CDT SAT MAY 17 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF ARK........FRANKLIN AT 245 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF OZARK IN FRANKLIN COUNTY MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. LARGE HAIL AND STRONG SURFACE WINDS WILL OCCUR WITH THIS STORM. IF YOU OBSERVE ANY LARGE HAIL OR STRONG WINDS PLEASE RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. ALTHOUGH TORNADOES HAVE NOT BEEN DETECTED WITH THIS STORM..A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT. TORNADOES CAN DEVELOP WITHOUT WARNING FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
