THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL NOON TODAY FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES
OF EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...

ANDERSON...COFFEY AND SOUTHERN LYON COUNTIES...

HEAVY RAINS OF 2.5 TO 3.5 INCHES WERE INDICATED TO HAVE FALLEN OVER
THESE COUNTIES FROM LATE AFTERNOON UNTIL MIDNIGHT...AND MODERATE TO
HEAVY RAINS WERE CONTINUING AT 215 AM CDT. THE RAINS WILL LIKELY
CONTINUE UNTIL AT LEAST MID TO LATE MORNING WITH TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS
FROM LAST EVENING THROUGH 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING LIKLEY TO REACH 4 TO
6 INCHES.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IN PROGRESS OR EXPECTED TO
OCCUR SHORTLY.  TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.
