THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA...CENTRAL PHILLIPS

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS IN PROGRESS AT MALTA IN CENTRAL
PHILLIPS COUNTY. THE PUBLIC REPORTED 60 MPH WINDS AND AREAS
OF HEAVY RAIN AROUND 600 PM THIS EVENING. THIS THUNDERSTORM
WILL CONTINUE MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHEASTWARD.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE LIGHTNING. LIGHTNING IS A
 MAJOR CAUSE OF THUNDERSTORM FATALITIES.

 IF THREATENING WEATHER APPRjOACHES..TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
