THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CANCELLED THE TORNADO WARNING FOR
BUTTE COUNTY.

THE LARGE THUNDERSTORMS THAT EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON PRODUCED A SHORT-
LIVED TORNADO NORTH OF CHICO ARE GRADUALLY WEAKENING AS THEY MOVE INTO
THE SIERRA FOOTHILLS.
