THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH
          ..NORTHEASTERN GARFIELD..EASTERN WAYNE

AN OBSERVER AT BOULDER..UTAH HAS REPORTED GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL IN A
THUNDERSTORM DURING THE PAST 15 MINUTES. WEATHER RADAR AND SATELLITE
PICTURES INDICATE THAT THE THUNDERSTORM IS CONTINUING TO DEVELOP AND
MOVE TOWARDS THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
THIS THUNDERSTORM IS LIKELY TO CAUSE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH.  THUNDERSTORM RAIN MAY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODS.  STAY OUT OF
NORMALLY LOW OR DRY CREEK BEDS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR TDAMAGING WINDS, LARGE HAIL, AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER, PREFERABLY
INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
