THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 100 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...MCDONALD AND NEWTON

AT 1215 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM  10 MILES
SOUTH OF MIAMI OKLAHOMA MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS STORM
WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST MISSOURI BY 1220 AM AND WILL AFFECT THE
 CITIES OF SENECA NEOSHO AND ANDERSON IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDESTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE
IMMEDIATELY AND RELAY YOUR SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS TO THE NEAREST
LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

PERSONS IN LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
RAPIDLY RISING WATER AVND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.
