        ...VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN BACA COUNTY...

AT 148 PM MDT VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN BACA COUNTY AND
ALONG THE LAS ANIMAS AND BACA LINE OF SOUTHEAST COLORADO..40 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF LA JUNTA. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT
20 MILES AN HOUR AND COULD PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS..HAIL..FREQUENT LIGHTNING
AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THESE STORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTHERN
PROWERS COUNTY AND ACROSS HIGHWAY 237/385 BY 230 PM MDT.

OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS A FEW WITH HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE SMALL
HAIL WERE OVER SOUTHEAST COLORADO FROM THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS TO
TO THE KANSAS BORDER. PERSONS NEAR THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND
SEEK SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

AT 135 PM MDT SMALL HAIL AND LIGHT RAIN WAS REPORTED AT DEORA 40 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF LA JUNTA.
