AT 306 PM MDT HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTH AND NORTHEAST OF
SUGAR CITY IN CROWLEY COUNTY OF SOUTHEAST COLORADO MOVING EAST
AT 5 TO 10 MPH. BRIEF HEAVY RAINS AND CONTINUOUS LIGHTNING ARE
POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.
OTHER THUNDERSHOWERS WERE ALONG THE FOOTHILLS IN CUSTER AND
HUERFANO COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST COLORADO. THE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO THROUGHOUT THE
EVENING HOURS.
THE NEARBY THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED GUSTS TO 41 MPH AT PUEBLO
MEMORIAL AIRPORT BETWEEN 2 AND 3 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PUEBLO CO 445 PM MDT MON JUN 30 1986 ...HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS IN BENT AND PROWERS COUNTIES... AT 445 PM MDT HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED IN NORTHERN BENT COUNTY OVER THE TOWN OF HASTY. MARBLE SIZE HAIL...HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS WERE REPORTED BY LAMAR PATROL AROUND 430 PM MDT. THIS STORMS WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. OTHER HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALONG THE COLORADO/KANSAS STATE LINE ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE TOWN OF HOLLY IN EASTERN PROWERS COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE ALSO MOVING TO THE EAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH AND SHOULD MOVE INTO WESTERN KANSAS WITHIN THE HOUR. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY. WOODS
