000 TTAA00 KOKC 100438 SVROKC OKC125-049-019-085-067-100515- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OKLAHOMA CITY OK 1036 PM CST SUN MAR 9 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115PM CST FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN OKLAHOMA...POTTAWATOMIE GARVIN CARTER LOVE EASTERN JEFFERSON AT 1036 PM OKLAHOMA CITY RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS 0FROM SHAWNEE TO PAULS VALLEY TO RYAN. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. WIND DAMAGE HAS BEEN REPORTED ALONG THIS LINE ALONG WITH QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OKLAHOMA CITY 735 PM CST SUN MAR 9 1986 ...STRONG GUSTY WINDS ACCOMPANYING THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN OKLAHOMA... AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAS DEVELOPED OVER EXTREME WESTERN OKLAHOMA THIS EVENING AND IS MOVING NORTHEASTWARD AT AROUND 60 MPH. AT 715 PM THE LEADING EDGE OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM NEAR ALTUS TO HOBART TO CUSTER CITY TO FAIRVIEW TO ALVA. EVEN THOUGH THE INTENSITY OF THESE STORMS IS NOT VERY STRONG..THE WINDS FROM THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL ENHANCE THE ALREADY STRONG SOUTHWESTERLY SURFACE WINDS OCCURING OVER WESTERN OKLAHOMA. GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NEXT 2 TO 3 HOURS OVER WESTERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA ESPECIALLY ALONG THE LEADING EDGE OF THE THUNDERSTORMS.
