100 PM CST FRI APR 4 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CST..

ATOKA

SINCE 900 AM CST THIS MORNING..STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY
RAINS HAVE MOVED ACROSS ATOKA COUNTY. AT 100 PM..A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE ACROSS ATOKA COUNTY AND WAS SHOWING LITTLE
MOVEMENT TOWARD THE EAST. THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN THIS LINE CONTINUED
TO MOVE TOWARD THE NORTHEAST ALONG THE LINE AND WERE MOVING OVER
THE SAME AREAS AS PREVIOUS STORMS.

COMPUTER RAINFALL ESTIMATES FOR THE PAST 3 HOURS SHOW RAIN AMOUNTS
BETWEEN 2 AND 4 INCHES.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED NOT TO DRIVE INTO RUNNING WATER ACROSS ROADS AS
THE ROAD MAY BE WASHED OUT AND/OR THEIR VEHICLES CAN BE SWEPT OFF THE
ROAD.
