A STRONG LOW PRESSURE AREA IS MOVING INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON THIS
MORNING. COOLER MARINE AIR HAS BEGUN TO CROSS THE CASCADES AND IS
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPEMENT OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS EASTERN WASH-
INGTON AND THE NORTH IDAHO PANHANDLE.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR BENEWAH AND SHOSHONE
COUNTIES. AS THE STORMS DEVELOPE THIS AFiTERNOON THERE IS A POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND DAMAGING WINDS.
CONDITIONS IN THESE AREAS ARE BEING CLOSELY MONITORED AND FURTHER
