000 TTAA00 KMSP 220149 SVRMSP MNC129-127-220220- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 849 PM CDT SAT JUN 21 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 920 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...RENVILLE AND NORTHERN REDWOOD AT 8 45 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF REDWOOD FALLS MINNESOTA...ON THE REDWOOD/RENVILLE COUNTY LINE. THIS THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR...AND THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITIES OF REDWOOD FALLS... OLIVIA...FAIRFAX...AND HECTOR. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
