000 TTAA00 KMSP 122050 SVRMSP MNC129-122110- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 350 PM CDT MON MAY 12 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 410 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA...EASTERN RENVILLE AT.....A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED BY POLICE IN EASTERN RENVILLE COUNTY MINNESOTA NEAR BIRD ISLAND. BASEBALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. COLEMAN

A LARGE THUNDERSTORM CONTAINING VERY HEAVY RAIN..HAIL AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS WAS MOVING ACROSS THE EXTREME SOUTH PORTION OF MEEKER COUNTY SOUTH OF THE CITY OF COSMOS APPROACHING THE CITY OF CEDAR MILLS MINNESOTA IN SOUTH CENTRAL MEEKER COUNTY.
