THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 540 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...CHIPPEWA AND NORTHERN EAU CLAIRE

AT....445PM CDT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE STRONG POTENTIAL
FOR HAIL WERE LOCATED IN WESTERN EAU CLAIRE AND CHIPPEWA COUNTIES
OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN. AT 455 PM THE STRONGEST STORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR THE CITY OF EAU CLAIRE AND WEST OF BLOOMER IN
CHIPPEWA COUNTY. THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITIES OF EAU CLAIRE
AND CHIPPEWA FALLS.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE
HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF
SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
