000 TTAA00 KMSP 032142 SVRMSP WIC035-032230- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 442 PM CDT WED SEP 3 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...EAU CLAIRE AT.....A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH GOLF BALL TO PING PONG SIZED HAIL WAS REPORTED BY THE CITY POLICE IN THE CITY OF EAU CLAIRE AT 435 PM. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 TO 25 MILES AN HOUR AND PERSONS IN ALTOONA AND FALL CREEK WISCONSIN SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE SEVERE WEATHER UNTIL 530 PM. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. PAULSON
