240 AM CST TUE NOV 11 1986

...VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS INCREASING OVER SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...

AT 235 AM THE MOBILE RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER
SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI.  THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED FROM
JUST SOUTH OF BROOKLYN IN FORREST COUNTY TO 10 MILES SOUTH OF POPLARVILLE
IN PEARL-RIVER COUNTY.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST
AT 30 MPH.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS...BLINDING RAINFALL
THAT WILL FLOOD ROADS AND LOW AREAS...AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL.

OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NORTH OF LAKE PONCHARTRAIN IN LOUISIANA
MAY MOVE INTO LAMAR AND PEARL-RIV{ER COUNTIES LATER THIS MORNING.

RESIDENTS OF THE AREA SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE APPROACH OF THESE
THUNDERSTORMS.
