THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...INCLUDING THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS:

HANCOCK

AT 626 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CENTERzED JUST WEST OF
BAY ST LOUIS EXTENDING SOUTH INTO THE COASTAL WATERS.  THE STORM WAS
DRIFTING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHWEST.  THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS
AND LARGE HAIL..ALONG WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
