SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PENSACOLA FL 935 AM CST MON FEB 10 1986 AT 930 AM CST...A LARGE CLUSTER OF VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE IN HOLMES AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES WITH THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF VERNON IN WASHINGTON COUNTY. OTHER VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE JUST OFFSHORE FROM MOBILE BAY TO SOUTH OF PENSACOLA AND TO NEAR NAVARRE. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND PATCHES OF MOSTLY LIGHT RAIN WERE OVER THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE..SOUTHWEST ALABAMA..AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATER.
