AT 1155 AM EST MARION COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED LARGE HAIL AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN MARION COUNTY AND WEATHER SERVICE RADAR DETECTED SEVERAL VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING ACROSS THE COUNTY FROM JUST WEST OF LAKE GEORGE TO FLORIDAS WEST COAST AROUND HOMOSASSA SPRINGS THAT WILL BE MOVING INTO MARION COUNTY WITHIN THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY..AND YOU SHOULD ASK THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY TO RELAY YOUR SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS TO THE LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE.
