SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
429 PM EDT TUE AUG 5 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND 
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE 
FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA...NORTHWEST COLLIER
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTY JUST MENTIONED

RADAR INDICATES A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NAPLES AND
EXTREME NORTHWEST COLLIER COUNTY. AROUND 410 PM SUSTAINED WINDS
OF 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 65 MPH WERE REPORTED BY THE COLLIER
EMERGENCY MANANAGEMENT CENTER. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING
TO THE NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

SEEK SHELTER FROM THIS THUNDERSTORM IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING
WIND..HAIL..VERY HEAVY RAIN..AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE
IN THIS THUNDERSTORM.  DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL
APPLIANCES AND STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS
PASSED.

THIS STORM WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY DEADLY LIGHTNING..WIND EXCEEDING
GALE FORCE AND VERY ROUGH SEAS.  BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..YOU SHOULD GO TO A SAFE PLACE
IMMEDIATELY..AND YOU SHOULD ASK THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY
