SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
1243 PM EDT THU MAY 22 1986

NUMEROUS VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.  THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOST HEAVILY
CONCENTRATED OVER NORTHWEST DADE AND THE SOUTHERN HALF OF BROWARD
COUNTY. SOME OF THE HEAVIER THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND
SMALL HAIL..AS WELL AS REDUCED VISIBILITY IN HEAVY RAIN.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 20 MILES AN HOUR.

ELSEWHERE..A CLUSTER OF VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER AND NORTH OF
THE LOWER FLORIDA KEYS.

NUMEROUS VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM NEAR BIMINI TO GRAND
BAHAMA ISLAND.
