THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
..ECTOR..MIDLAND
AT 945 PM CDT RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW A BAND OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
FROM JUST SOUTH OF GOLDSMITH TO NEAR MIDLAND.
THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY SOUTH.
DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT AND VERY HEAVY RAINS..STREET FLOODING AND
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS IS LIKELY.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH,
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
