THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
          ..ECTOR..MIDLAND

AT 630 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO ECTOR AND WESTERN
MIDLAND COUNTIES. WINDS OF 55 TO 60 MPH HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN WESTERN
ODESSA WITHIN THE PAST 10 MINUTES. THIS THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING SLOWLY
TO THE SOUTH.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH,
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.h

WAS 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF ANDREWS TEXAS MOVING VERY LITTLE.
THIS THUNDERSTORM COULD PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAIN..LIGHTNING AND STRONG
GUSTY WINDS.

THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED IN A 130 MILE WIDE AREA FRQOM SOUTHEAST OF
ROSWELL NEW MEXICO TO SOUTHWEST OF SWEETWATER TEXAS. LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS
INDICATED.
