THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
          ..NORTHERN CRANE..ECTOR..MIDLAND

AT 503 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 25
MILES NORTH OF RANKIN TEXAS TO NEAR GOLDSMITH TEXAS.
 
THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING WEST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE, SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.3  DAMAGING WIND, LARGE HAIL, VERY HEAVY RAIN, AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  STAY
INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
