AT 730 PM...VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN EDDY COUNTY MOVING
NORTH INTO CHAVES COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL IN A VERY SHORT TIME.
THE GROUND IN SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS IS SATURATED AFTER THE
HEAVY RAINS OF THE PAST SEVERAL DAY. VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR
CONTINUES OVER THE AREA CAUSING A THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING IN ANY
LOW LYING AREA OR STREAM.
