AT 335 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED SHOWERS AND A FEW STRONG THUNUDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTHWEST PORTION OF THE SOUTH PLAINS AND THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE TEXAS PANHNDLE. THE STRONGEST STORMS ON THE SOUTH PLAINS WERE LOCATED NEAR MULESHOE IN NORTHEAST BAILEY COUNTY..AND NEAR MORTON IN NORTHERN COCHRAN COUNTY. AT 445 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO ABOUT 8 MILES WEST OF WHITHARRAL IN HOCKLEY COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH- EAST AT ABOUT 15 MILES AN HOUR BUT PRESENT RADAR INDICATIONS SHOW A CHANGE IN MOVEMENT TO THE EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. THIS MEANS THAT IT SHOULD BE IN THE VICINITY OF WHITHARRAL ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. ELSEWHERE OVER THE SOUTH PLAINS SCTTERED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE BUT AT THE PRESENT TIME CONTAIN NO SEVERE WEATHER.
